Dr. Zhen-Peng Xu is currently in Siegen for a two year research collaboration with Prof. Otfried Gühne and his Theoretical Quantum Optics research group. Now they, together with Prof. Dr. Jing-Ling Chen, their colleague based in China, have been awarded the prestigous Paul Ehrenfest Best Paper Award for Quantum Foundations for their paper on “Proof of the Peres Conjecture for Contextuality”
The Ehrenfest prize is awarded annually to the the best international publication on fundamental problems in quantum physics by the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
